HICA is a premier organization established to give impetus to the domestic Home Insecticides sector, to facilitate the members of the Association for the overall safety of the environment and to educate the public about the healthy and proper use of Home Insecticides and to introduce self –regulation and governance by the member industry.

HICA cares to maintain and enhance the reputation of the insecticides industry and safeguard the business interests of its members by bringing to the notice of authorities cases of unauthorized & unrecognized suppliers who misrepresent and sell products of harmful nature to the hapless consumers.

The idea is to promote and to stabilize measures in order to assist in the promotion of the use of safe insecticides in India, and help in the development of the insecticides industry in the larger interest of the country.

• To assist or otherwise co-operate with Government authorities, public bodies, institutions or associations for such purpose.
• To promote the consideration of discussion of all questions directly or indirectly affecting the insecticides industry and trade.

HICA is continuously engaged in solving specific issues of common interest of its members, subject to the discipline of healthy growth and competition among the members.

HICA plans to collect and maintain a warehouse of data and value added research information on this sector for the benefit of its members and the general public as and when required.

HICA plans to lead fact finding missions to various countries to study the systems and procedures prevalent there.
